Does it really look like everyone has a better life than me on social media? Many of us know this feeling. We open Instagram or TikTok, and suddenly it seems like everyone else has more, does more, and lives better.

LIFE

We often go on social media to relax, see what's going on, or simply out of habit. And before we know it, we start comparing our lives to what we see on screen.

The problem is, we only see selected fragments of other people's lives there. Always the best ones: successes, smiles, trips, beautiful shots. We rarely see stress, boredom, difficult moments, or just everyday life.

And we look at all this and compare it to our normal day—with work, fatigue, responsibilities, minor problems. No wonder it all comes out uneven.

It's worth remembering that social media isn't the whole picture. It's just a small fragment, often curated to look its best. And it's not the right place to judge your own life.

Others may look better there, but that doesn't mean they're living better lives. It's simply a different part of the story than the one we're currently experiencing.
